Der WiiM Sound ist der erste vollständig von WiiM entwickelte Smart-Lautsprecher und kombiniert hochauflösendes Streaming, automatische Raumkorrektur und Multiroom-Audio in einem kompakten Full-Range-System. Er fügt sich nahtlos in das bestehende WiiM-Ökosystem ein und bietet dieselbe technische Präzision, für die WiiM mit seinen Streamern und Verstärkern bekannt ist – jetzt erstmals als eigenständiger Lautsprecher.
Mit 24-Bit/192 kHz High-Res-Audio, leistungsstarken 100 Watt Gesamtleistung und einer Treiberkombination aus 4-Zoll-Tieftöner und zwei Hochtönern sorgt der WiiM Sound für ein klares, dynamisches Klangbild – von kräftigen Bässen bis zu fein aufgelösten Details. Die integrierte Raumkorrektur misst die akustischen Gegebenheiten und passt den Lautsprecher automatisch an Ihre Umgebung an. Für Feinanpassungen stehen ein 10-Band-EQ, ein parametrischer EQ sowie 24 Klangprofile zur Verfügung.
Dank Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA, Alexa Cast und über 20 Musikdiensten in der WiiM Home App lässt sich Musik flexibel und komfortabel streamen – einzeln, im Stereo-Paar oder als Teil eines Multiroom-Systems. Der WiiM Sound unterstützt Google-Cast-Gruppen, Alexa-Multiroom sowie WiiM-Multiroom und integriert sich damit in unterschiedliche Plattformen.
Über den 1,8-Zoll-Touchscreen lassen sich Titelinformationen, Albumcover und Basisfunktionen direkt am Gerät bedienen. Alternativ stehen die WiiM Home App, Sprachsteuerung (Alexa/Google) oder die WiiM Voice Remote (optional) zur Verfügung. In Kombination mit einem WiiM Verstärker mit HDMI-ARC – wie dem WiiM Amp Ultra – lässt sich der Lautsprecher auch in ein Surround- oder Heimkino-Setup einbinden.
Regelmäßige Firmware-Updates erweitern die Funktionen kontinuierlich und sorgen dafür, dass der WiiM Sound auch in Zukunft technisch up-to-date bleibt.

In 2014, Linkplay Technology was established by a core team of high caliber technology entrepreneurs from Google, Broadcom, InterVideo & Harman. They developed cutting-edge wireless technology, software, hardware and user-experience features for a variety of voice and smart products in multiple markets around the globe.
While developing smart products, the founders of WiiM realized there was a void in the market since consumers still had older, functional legacy audio devices but did not want to throw them out because they weren’t smart. Following the successful launch of the WiiM Mini, which garnered numerous positive reviews and sales, the WiiM Team created the WiiM Pro. After listening to online reviews from consumers, WiiM made sure that the latest addition to the lineup comes equipped with everything the Mini was missing, such as Chromecast compatibility, an ethernet port for internet connectivity, and much more.
